प॒दं दे॒वस्य॒ नम॑सा॒ व्यन्तः॑ श्रव॒स्यवः॒ श्रव॑ आप॒न्नमृ॑क्तम्। नामा॑नि चिद् दधिरे य॒ज्ञिया॑नि भ॒द्रायां॑ ते रणयन्त॒ संदृ॑ष्टौ ॥४॥
padaṁ devasya namasā vyantaḥ śravasyavaḥ śrava āpann amṛktam | nāmāni cid dadhire yajñiyāni bhadrāyāṁ te raṇayanta saṁdṛṣṭau ||

हे विद्वांसो ! व्यन्तः श्रवस्यवो भवन्तो नमसा सह वर्त्तमानस्य देवस्याग्नेः पदममृक्तं श्रव आपन्। अस्य देवस्य यज्ञियानि नामानि चिद्दधिरे ते भद्रायां सन्दृष्टौ रणयन्त ॥४॥

O highly learned persons ! pervading in all knowledge and good actions, and desiring food, you can attain food on earth and know the nature of the Agni (fire and energy) which is shining in all objects and is subtly within the food-grains.
