ते ते॑ देव नेत॒र्ये चे॒माँ अ॑नु॒शसे॑। ते रा॒या ते ह्या॒३॒॑पृचे॒ सचे॑महि सच॒थ्यैः॑ ॥२॥
te te deva netar ye cemām̐ anuśase | te rāyā te hy āpṛce sacemahi sacathyaiḥ ||
ते। ते॒। दे॒व॒। ने॒तः॒। ये। च॒। इ॒मान्। अ॒नु॒ऽशसे॑। ते। रा॒या। ते। हि। आ॒ऽपृचे॑। सचे॑महि। स॒च॒थ्यैः॑ ॥२॥

पुनर्मनुष्यैः किं कर्त्तव्यमित्याह ॥
हे नेतर्देव ! ये तेऽनुशस इमान् सम्बध्नन्ति ते ते सत्कर्त्तव्याः स्युः। ये च राया सर्वान् रक्षन्ति ते प्रीतिमन्तो जायन्ते। ये हृापृचे सचथ्यैर्वर्त्तन्ते तैः सह वयं सचेमहि ॥२॥

O highly learned leader! all those are to be honoured by you who unite these people with you for receiving your instructions. Those who guard honour of all with wealth are loved by all or become popular. Let us be united with them who in order to establish close contact with you deal in accordance with the rules of proper association.
