सु॒कृत्सु॑पा॒णिः स्ववाँ॑ ऋ॒तावा॑ दे॒वस्त्वष्टाव॑से॒ तानि॑ नो धात्। पू॒ष॒ण्वन्त॑ ऋभवो मादयध्वमू॒र्ध्वग्रा॑वाणो अध्व॒रम॑तष्ट॥

हे पूषण्वन्त ऋभवो यूयं यथा सुकृत् सुपाणिः स्ववानृतावा त्वष्टा देवो नोऽवसे तानि धादूर्ध्वग्रावाण इवाऽध्वरमतष्ट तथाऽस्मान् मादयध्वम् ॥१२॥

The duties of the disciples are told.
O wiseman ! you have many supporters make us joyful as a man who does good deeds, is dexterous-handed, has many good kith and kin, and is manifester or propagator of truth and illuminator of knowledge. You are a highly learned person, and therefore uphold for us all those things which are necessary for our preservation and protection. Undertake for our protection those dealings which nourish us like the clouds.
