यान्वो॒ नरो॑ देव॒यन्तो॑ निमि॒म्युर्वन॑स्पते॒ स्वधि॑तिर्वा त॒तक्ष॑। ते दे॒वासः॒ स्वर॑वस्तस्थि॒वांसः॑ प्र॒जाव॑द॒स्मे दि॑धिषन्तु॒ रत्न॑म्॥
yān vo naro devayanto nimimyur vanaspate svadhitir vā tatakṣa | te devāsaḥ svaravas tasthivāṁsaḥ prajāvad asme didhiṣantu ratnam ||
यान्। वः॒। नरः॑। दे॒व॒ऽयन्तः॑। नि॒ऽमि॒म्युः। वन॑स्पते। स्वऽधि॑तिः। वा॒। त॒तक्ष॑। ते। दे॒वासः॑। स्वर॑वः। त॒स्थि॒ऽवांसः॑। प्र॒जाऽव॑त्। अ॒स्मे इति॑। दि॒धि॒ष॒न्तु॒। रत्न॑म्॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
मनुष्यों को किनका ग्रहण वा त्याग करना चाहिये, इस विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।

हे नरो यान्वो देवयन्तो निमिम्युस्ते स्वरवस्तस्थिवांसो देवासो भवन्तोऽस्मे प्रजावद्रत्नं दिधिषन्तु। वा हे वनस्पते यथा स्वधितिर्मेघं ततक्ष तथा त्वं दुष्टतां तक्ष ॥६॥
