'जीवन पक्ष के ऋत्विज्' इन्द्राग्नी
Word-Meaning: - [१] 'इन्द्र' बल का प्रतीक है और 'अग्नि' प्रकाश का । ३६.७ में 'ब्रह्माणि वर्धयन् ' तथा ३७.७ में ' क्षत्राणि वर्धयन्' शब्दों में इन प्रकाश व बल का प्रतिपादन 'ब्रह्म व क्षत्र' शब्दों से हुआ है। ये प्रकाश और बल ही जीवनयज्ञ को सुन्दरता से चलाते हैं। हे (इन्द्राग्नी) = बल व प्रकाश के देवो! आप (हि) = ही (यज्ञस्य =) इस जीवनयज्ञ के (ऋत्विजा स्थः) = ऋत्विज् हो। आपके द्वारा ही यह जीवनयज्ञ चलता है। आप (वाजेषु) = शक्तियों में व (कर्मसु) = सब कर्मों में (सस्नी) = शुद्धता को करनेवाले हो । [२] हे (इन्द्राग्नी) = बल व प्रकाश के देवो! (तस्य) = उस जीवनयज्ञ का (बोधतम्) = आप ध्यान करो-उसे जानो-उसकी चिन्ता करो। आपको ही जीवनयज्ञ को सफल व सुन्दर बनाना है ।
Connotation: - भावार्थ:- बल व प्रकाश के दिव्य भाव जीवनयज्ञ के ऋत्विज् हैं। ये हमारी शक्तियों व कर्मों को पवित्र बनाते हैं। ये ही इसका ध्यान करनेवाले हैं।
