ते आ॒चर॑न्ती॒ सम॑नेव॒ योषा॑ मा॒तेव॑ पु॒त्रं बि॑भृतामु॒पस्थे॑। अप॒ शत्रू॑न्विध्यतां संविदा॒ने आर्त्नी॑ इ॒मे वि॑ष्फु॒रन्ती॑ अ॒मित्रा॑न् ॥४॥
te ācarantī samaneva yoṣā māteva putram bibhṛtām upasthe | apa śatrūn vidhyatāṁ saṁvidāne ārtnī ime viṣphurantī amitrān ||
ते इति॑। आ॒चर॑न्ती॒ इत्या॒ऽचर॑न्ती। सम॑नाऽइव। योषा॑। मा॒ताऽइ॑व। पु॒त्रम्। बि॒भृ॒ता॒म्। उ॒पऽस्थे॑। अप॑। शत्रू॑न्। वि॒ध्य॒ता॒म्। सं॒वि॒दा॒ने इति॑ स॒म्ऽवि॒दा॒ने। आर्त्नी॑ इति॑। इ॒मे इति॑। वि॒स्फु॒रन्ती॒ इति॑ वि॒ऽस्फु॒रन्ती॑। अ॒मित्रा॑न् ॥४॥

O brave persons! may the two extremities of the bow making the foes tremble and uphold victory which is like two ladies, a loving wife (of one mind with her husband) doing always what is dear to her husband and a mother nursing the child upon her lap, who (both of them) are like the ladies keeping their promise and going about their duties.
