द्यौ॒३॒॑ष्पितः॒ पृथि॑वि॒ मात॒रध्रु॒गग्ने॑ भ्रातर्वसवो मृ॒ळता॑ नः। विश्व॑ आदित्या अदिते स॒जोषा॑ अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ शर्म॑ बहु॒लं वि य॑न्त ॥५॥
dyauṣ pitaḥ pṛthivi mātar adhrug agne bhrātar vasavo mṛḻatā naḥ | viśva ādityā adite sajoṣā asmabhyaṁ śarma bahulaṁ vi yanta ||
द्यौः॑। पितः॑। पृ॒थि॑वि। मातः॑। अध्रु॑क्। अग्ने॑। भ्रा॒तः॒। व॒स॒वः॒। मृ॒ळत॑। नः॒। विश्वे॑। आ॒दि॒त्याः॒। अ॒दि॒ते॒। स॒ऽजोषाः॑। अ॒स्मभ्य॑म्। शर्म॑। ब॒हु॒लम्। वि। य॒न्त॒ ॥५॥

हे पितर्द्यौरिव ! त्वं हे मातः पृथिवि भूमिरिव ! त्वं हे अग्ने ! अग्निरिव भ्रातस्त्वमध्रुक्सन् वसवो यूयं नो मृळता। हे अदिते ! यथा विश्व आदित्या अस्मभ्यं बहुलं शर्म वि यन्त तथा सजोषास्त्वं बहुसुखं विद्यां च देहि ॥५॥

O father! you who are like the sun, O mother! you who are like the earth, O brother! you who are pure and purifier like the fire, all of you, who, are bestowers of delight and free from malice; make us happy. O highly learned lady! you who are endowed with the great wealth of knowledge as all enlightened persons, who have well observed Brahmacharya (abstinence) give us good dwelling place, containing many requisite articles, so, you, who, are full of equal love and the spirit of service, give much happiness and knowledge.
