रू॒पंरू॑पं॒ प्रति॑रूपो बभूव॒ तद॑स्य रू॒पं प्र॑ति॒चक्ष॑णाय। इन्द्रो॑ मा॒याभिः॑ पुरु॒रूप॑ ईयते यु॒क्ता ह्य॑स्य॒ हर॑यः श॒ता दश॑ ॥१८॥
rūpaṁ-rūpam pratirūpo babhūva tad asya rūpam praticakṣaṇāya | indro māyābhiḥ pururūpa īyate yuktā hy asya harayaḥ śatā daśa ||
रू॒पम्ऽरू॑पम्। प्रति॑ऽरूपः। ब॒भू॒व॒। तत्। अ॒स्य॒। रू॒पम्। प्र॒ति॒ऽचक्ष॑णाय। इन्द्रः॑। मा॒याभिः॑। पु॒रु॒ऽरूपः॑। ई॒य॒ते॒। यु॒क्ताः। हि। अ॒स्य॒। हर॑यः। श॒ता। दश॑ ॥१८॥

हे मनुष्या ! य इन्द्रो मायाभिः प्रतिचक्षणाय रूपंरूपं प्रतिरूपो बभूव पुरुरूप ईयते तदस्य रूपमस्ति, यस्याऽस्य हि दश शता हरयो युक्ताः शरीरं वहन्ति तदस्य सामर्थ्यं वर्त्तते ॥१८॥

O men ! the soul by its manifestations conveys the same forms. This is its only form to talk about. It assumes many bodies according to its actions and is therefore multiformed. It has its thousands of forms of the senses (inner and outer) Pranas and thousands of nerves, which are comparable i fastness with horses.
