त्वं वृ॒ध इ॑न्द्र पू॒र्व्यो भू॑र्वरिव॒स्यन्नु॒शने॑ का॒व्याय॑। परा॒ नव॑वास्त्वमनु॒देयं॑ म॒हे पि॒त्रे द॑दाथ॒ स्वं नपा॑तम् ॥११॥
tvaṁ vṛdha indra pūrvyo bhūr varivasyann uśane kāvyāya | parā navavāstvam anudeyam mahe pitre dadātha svaṁ napātam ||
त्वम्। वृ॒धः। इ॒न्द्र॒। पू॒र्व्यः॑। भूः॒। व॒रि॒व॒स्यन्। उ॒शने॑। का॒व्याय॑। परा॑। नव॑ऽवास्त्वम्। अ॒नु॒ऽदेय॑म्। म॒हे। पि॒त्रे। द॒दा॒थ॒। स्वम्। नपा॑तम् ॥११॥

What should a king do is further told.
O Indra (King)! endowed with know- ledge and wealth, taught by the experienced old teachers, serving those who are increasers of your wisdom and knowledge, you give new built house which is strong and firm and which can be given for other's use -to a scholar trained well by the sage poets and desiring it (on account of necessity) being himself a nourisher of the people and having given it willingly do not seek its return.
