प्रय॑ज्यवो म॒रुतो॒ भ्राज॑दृष्टयो बृ॒हद्वयो॑ दधिरे रु॒क्मव॑क्षसः। ईय॑न्ते॒ अश्वैः॑ सु॒यमे॑भिरा॒शुभिः॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत ॥१॥
prayajyavo maruto bhrājadṛṣṭayo bṛhad vayo dadhire rukmavakṣasaḥ | īyante aśvaiḥ suyamebhir āśubhiḥ śubhaṁ yātām anu rathā avṛtsata ||
प्रऽय॑ज्यवः। म॒रुतः॑। भ्राज॑त्ऽऋष्टयः। बृ॒हत्। वयः॑। द॒धि॒रे। रु॒क्मऽव॑क्षसः। ईय॑न्ते। अश्वैः॑। सु॒ऽयमे॑भिः। आ॒शुऽभिः॑। शुभ॑म्। या॒ताम्। अनु॑। रथाः॑। अ॒वृ॒त्स॒त॒ ॥१॥

पुनर्मनुष्याः कथं वर्त्तेरन्नित्याह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! यैरश्वैराशुभिः सुयमेभिर्जनैः शुभं यातां रथा ईयन्ते प्रयज्यवो भ्राजदृष्टयो रुक्मवक्षसो मरुतो बृहद्वयो दधिरे ये चान्ववृत्सत तैस्सह यूयमप्येवं प्रयतध्वम् ॥१॥

The pattern of behaviour is prescribed.
O men ! the Maruts (men who are dear to us like our Pranas) possess shining or brilliant knowledge, perform great Yajnas (sacrificial acts), because they unify such golden people, lead great and most desirable lives along with the prompt and quick-going persons, because they practise YAMA or self-restraint. Good vehicles like aircrafts follow (accompany. Ed.) them, and they tread upon the path-of Dharma (righteousness). You should also try to emulate like those who follow them sincerely.
