उप॑ स्तुहि प्रथ॒मं र॑त्न॒धेयं॒ बृह॒स्पतिं॑ सनि॒तारं॒ धना॑नाम्। यः शंस॑ते स्तुव॒ते शंभ॑विष्ठः पुरू॒वसु॑रा॒गम॒ज्जोहु॑वानम् ॥७॥
upa stuhi prathamaṁ ratnadheyam bṛhaspatiṁ sanitāraṁ dhanānām | yaḥ śaṁsate stuvate śambhaviṣṭhaḥ purūvasur āgamaj johuvānam ||
उप॑। स्तु॒हि॒। प्र॒थ॒मम्। र॒त्न॒ऽधेय॑म्। बृह॒स्पति॑म्। स॒नि॒तार॑म्। धना॑नाम्। यः। शंस॑ते। स्तु॒व॒ते। शम्ऽभ॑विष्ठः। पु॒रु॒ऽवसुः॑। आ॒ऽगम॑त्। जोहु॑वानम् ॥७॥

हे विद्यैश्वर्य्ययुक्त ! यः पुरूवसुः शम्भविष्ठो जनः शंसते स्तुवते प्रथमं रत्नधेयं जोहुवानं बृहस्पतिं धनानां सनितारमागमत् तं त्वमुप स्तुहि ॥७॥

O man endowed with the wealth of knowledge, praise that wealthy man who is the best among the bestowers of happiness upon all and who comes to Brihaspati (the protector of the great), invokes the person of God and praises virtuous man that glorifies being the best and upholders jewels and distributes all kinds of wealth.
