समि॑न्द्र णो॒ मन॑सा नेषि॒ गोभिः॒ सं सू॒रिभि॑र्हरिवः॒ सं स्व॒स्ति। सं ब्रह्म॑णा दे॒वहि॑तं॒ यदस्ति॒ सं दे॒वानां॑ सुम॒त्या य॒ज्ञिया॑नाम् ॥४॥
sam indra ṇo manasā neṣi gobhiḥ saṁ sūribhir harivaḥ saṁ svasti | sam brahmaṇā devahitaṁ yad asti saṁ devānāṁ sumatyā yajñiyānām ||
सम्। इ॒न्द्र॒। नः॒। मन॑सा। ने॒षि॒। गोभिः॑। सम्। सू॒रिऽभिः॑। ह॒रि॒ऽवः॒। सम्। स्व॒स्ति। सम्। ब्रह्म॑णा। दे॒वऽहि॑तम्। यत्। अस्ति॑। सम्। दे॒वाना॑म्। सु॒ऽम॒त्या। य॒ज्ञिया॑नाम् ॥४॥

हे इन्द्र ! यतस्त्वं यद् गोभिः सह सं स्वस्त्यस्ति तन्नो मनसा सन्नेषि। हे हरिवो ! यत्सूरिभिः सह स्वस्त्यस्ति तन्नः सन्नेषि। यद् ब्रह्मणा सह देवहितं स्वस्त्यस्ति तन्न सन्नेषि। यद्यज्ञियानां देवानां सुमत्या सह देवहितं स्वस्त्यस्ति तन्नः सन्नेषि तस्मात् सत्कर्त्तव्योऽसि ॥४॥

O learned person endowed with the wealth of knowledge, you lead us to that happiness which is achieved in full measures with senses and speeches. O learned person! followed or assisted by good men, you lead us to that happiness which is to be achieved by the association of the enlightened persons. You lead us to that happiness, which is beneficial to learned persons with the help of the Vedas, wealth and food. You lead us to that happiness, which is beneficial to the enlightened men with their good intellect of the performers of the Yajnas. Therefore, you are worthy of respect.
