उदी॑रय क॒वित॑मं कवी॒नामु॒नत्तै॑नम॒भि मध्वा॑ घृ॒तेन॑। स नो॒ वसू॑नि॒ प्रय॑ता हि॒तानि॑ च॒न्द्राणि॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता सु॑वाति ॥३॥
ud īraya kavitamaṁ kavīnām unattainam abhi madhvā ghṛtena | sa no vasūni prayatā hitāni candrāṇi devaḥ savitā suvāti ||
उत्। ई॒र॒य॒। क॒विऽत॑मम्। क॒वी॒नाम्। उ॒नत्त॑। ए॒न॒म्। अ॒भि। मध्वा॑। घृ॒तेन॑। सः। नः॒। वसू॑नि। प्रऽय॑ता। हि॒तानि॑। च॒न्द्राणि॑। दे॒वः। स॒वि॒ता। सु॒वा॒ति॒ ॥३॥

हे मनुष्या ! यथा कृषीवला मध्वा घृतेन क्षेत्रादीनि सिक्त्वा शस्यादीनि लभन्ते तथैवैनं कवीनां कवितममुदीरयाभ्युदयायोनत्त। हे विद्वांसो ! यं कवीनां कवितममुदीरय स सविता देवो नो प्रयता चन्द्राणि हितानि वसूनि सुवाति ॥३॥
