यो म॒ इति॑ प्र॒वोच॒त्यश्व॑मेधाय सू॒रये॑। दद॑दृ॒चा स॒निं य॒ते दद॑न्मे॒धामृ॑ताय॒ते ॥४॥

Importance of the sermon is told.
I am grateful to the person who tells me, who is quickly pure and learned man, to be honored who with the teaching of Rigveda and other Vedas gives me speech that can distinguish correctly between truth and untruth. Such a person gives pure intellect to me, who desires to attain truth and I am always trying to secure or learn it.
