तं त्वा॑ घृतस्नवीमहे॒ चित्र॑भानो स्व॒र्दृश॑म्। दे॒वाँ आ वी॒तये॑ वह ॥२॥

तम्। त्वा। घृ॒त॒स्नो॒ इति॑ घृतऽस्नो। ई॒म॒हे॒। चित्र॑भानो॒ इति॒ चित्र॑ऽभानो। स्वः॒ऽदृश॑म्। दे॒वान्। आ। वी॒तये॑। व॒ह॒ ॥२॥

O learned person! the fire is purifier of the ghee and full of wonderful luster, is resplendent. You are also purifier of the people, who call you for use-you who are full of splendor like the sun. We also pray to you to perform the Yajna and invoke divine virtues or enlightened persons.
