कमे॒तं त्वं यु॑वते कुमा॒रं पेषी॑ बिभर्षि॒ महि॑षी जजान। पू॒र्वार्हि गर्भः॑ श॒रदो॑ व॒वर्धाप॑श्यं जा॒तं यदसू॑त मा॒ता ॥२॥
kam etaṁ tvaṁ yuvate kumāram peṣī bibharṣi mahiṣī jajāna | pūrvīr hi garbhaḥ śarado vavardhāpaśyaṁ jātaṁ yad asūta mātā ||
कम्। ए॒तम्। त्वम्। यु॒व॒ते॒। कु॒मा॒रम्। पेषी॑। बि॒भ॒र्षि॒। महि॑षी। ज॒जा॒न॒। पू॒र्वीः। हि। गर्भः॑। श॒रदः॑। व॒वर्ध॑। अप॑श्यम्। जा॒तम्। यत्। असू॑त। मा॒ता ॥२॥

O young mother ! who is the boy (or the daughter) whom you foster having protected and preserved the seed of the father? The great mother, venerable on account of beauty, strength, character and good conduct has given birth to the child. I have seen him born as the mother brought him forth (the above may be attributed to the father of child even).
