य॒ज्ञस्य॑ के॒तुं प्र॑थ॒मं पु॒रोहि॑तम॒ग्निं नर॑स्त्रिषध॒स्थे समी॑धिरे। इन्द्रे॑ण दे॒वैः स॒रथं॒ स ब॒र्हिषि॒ सीद॒न्नि होता॑ य॒जथा॑य सु॒क्रतुः॑ ॥२॥
yajñasya ketum prathamam purohitam agniṁ naras triṣadhasthe sam īdhire | indreṇa devaiḥ sarathaṁ sa barhiṣi sīdan ni hotā yajathāya sukratuḥ ||

हे नरो विद्वांसो ! यथा यूयं त्रिषधस्थे यजथाय यज्ञस्य केतुं प्रथमं पुरोहितमग्निं समीधिरे तथा स सुक्रतुर्होता त्वमिन्द्रेण देवैः सह बर्हिषि सरथं नि षीदत् ॥२॥

O leading scholars! as they enkindle (honor well) a man who is purifier and shining like the fire, is the best leader, giver of true knowledge, firm in three things (places/vidya Dharma and industriousness), in the same manner, you who are endowed high, like in the firmament, along with energy earth, and other things and various vehicles.
