ऋ॒तस्य॒ हि शु॒रुधः॒ सन्ति॑ पू॒र्वीर्ऋ॒तस्य॑ धी॒तिर्वृ॑जि॒नानि॑ हन्ति। ऋ॒तस्य॒ श्लोको॑ बधि॒रा त॑तर्द॒ कर्णा॑ बुधा॒नः शु॒चमा॑न आ॒योः ॥८॥
ṛtasya hi śurudhaḥ santi pūrvīr ṛtasya dhītir vṛjināni hanti | ṛtasya śloko badhirā tatarda karṇā budhānaḥ śucamāna āyoḥ ||
ऋ॒तस्य॑। हि। शु॒रुधः॑। सन्ति॑। पू॒र्वीः। ऋ॒तस्य॑। धी॒तिः। वृ॒जि॒नानि॑। ह॒न्ति॒। ऋ॒तस्य॑। श्लोकः॑। ब॒धि॒रा। त॒त॒र्द॒। कर्णा॑। बु॒धा॒नः। शु॒चमा॑नः। आ॒योः ॥८॥

हे राजन् ! यस्यर्त्तस्य सत्याचारस्य पूर्वीः शुरुधः सन्ति यस्यर्त्तस्य धीतिर्वृजिनानि प्राप्य शत्रून् हन्ति यस्यर्त्तस्य श्लोको बधिरा कर्णा ततर्द योऽन्यान् बुधानः शुचमान आयोर्जीवनस्योपायानुपदिशति तं हि गुरुवत् सत्कुर्य्याः ॥८॥

O king ! you should honor the man of truthful conduct like your Guru (preceptor). His long established armies are capable to stop the enemies, because his understanding of truth is strong and he destroys enemies. His truthful speech removes the obstacles, is pure, as well as purifier. While teaching. others, he tells the means to ennoble life.
