स्व१॒॑र्यद्वेदि॑ सु॒दृशी॑कम॒र्कैर्महि॒ ज्योती॑ रुरुचु॒र्यद्ध॒ वस्तोः॑। अ॒न्धा तमां॑सि॒ दुधि॑ता वि॒चक्षे॒ नृभ्य॑श्चकार॒ नृत॑मो अ॒भिष्टौ॑ ॥४॥
svar yad vedi sudṛśīkam arkair mahi jyotī rurucur yad dha vastoḥ | andhā tamāṁsi dudhitā vicakṣe nṛbhyaś cakāra nṛtamo abhiṣṭau ||
स्वः॑। यत्। वेदि॑। सु॒ऽदृशी॑कम्। अ॒र्कैः। महि॑। ज्योतिः॑। रु॒रु॒चुः॒। यत्। ह॒। वस्तोः॑। अ॒न्धा। तमां॑सि। दुधि॑ता। वि॒ऽचक्षे॑। नृऽभ्यः॑। च॒का॒र॒। नृ॒ऽत॑मः। अ॒भिष्टौ॑ ॥४॥

हे मनुष्या ! यत्सुदृशीकं महि ज्योतिस्स्वर्वेदि यद्ध वस्तोः किरणा रुरुचुयस्सूर्य्योऽन्धा तमांसि दुधिता विचक्षे तेन यो नृतमोऽभिष्टावर्कैर्नृभ्यः स्वश्चकार स एव सर्वैः सत्कर्त्तव्यो भवति ॥४॥

The duties of the enlightened persons are reinforced.
O men ! the great light which is handsome looking, and it manifests giving happiness. The rays of the sun shine in day time, when the sun thrashes the thick and undesired gloom of night and illumines all. Likewise, the best leaders and noble thoughts make people happy by united good acts, jointly performed for the welfare of all by dint of the mantras. They are to be respected by all.
