शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ। शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम्॥

हे मनुष्या यथा वयमूतये समत्सु वृत्राणि सूर्य इव शत्रून् घ्नन्तमुग्रं शृण्वन्तं धनानां सञ्जितमस्मिन्भरे वाजसातौ नृतमं शुनं मघवानमिन्द्रं हुवेम तथाऽप्येतं यूयमपि प्रशंसत ॥११॥

○ men! we invoke for protection from Indra, who is possessor of much wealth and destroyer of the armies of enemies in the battles, like the sun thrashing the clouds. The Indra is full of splendor, listening to the words of noble men, and is conqueror of wisdom, gold and other kinds of wealth. He is the best among men in distributing good materials among the needy and deserving, and bestows happiness. So you should also do likewise.
