अच्छि॑द्रा॒ शर्म॑ जरितः पु॒रूणि॑ दे॒वाँ अच्छा॒ दीद्या॑नः सुमे॒धाः। रथो॒ न सस्नि॑र॒भि व॑क्षि॒ वाज॒मग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒मेके॑॥
acchidrā śarma jaritaḥ purūṇi devām̐ acchā dīdyānaḥ sumedhāḥ | ratho na sasnir abhi vakṣi vājam agne tvaṁ rodasī naḥ sumeke ||
अच्छि॑द्रा। शर्म॑। ज॒रि॒त॒रिति॑। पु॒रूणि॑। दे॒वान्। अच्छ॑। दीद्या॑नः। सु॒ऽमे॒धाः। रथः॑। न। सस्निः॑। अ॒भि। व॒क्षि॒। वाज॑म्। अ॒ग्ने॒। त्वम्। रोद॑सी॒ इति॑। नः॒। सु॒मेके॒ इति॑ सु॒ऽमेके॑॥

हे अग्ने ! त्वं यथाऽग्निः सुमेके रोदसी प्रकाशयति तथैव नो दीद्यानः सुमेधाः सस्नी रथो न नोऽस्मभ्यं वाजमभि वक्षि। हे जरितर्विद्वँस्त्वमच्छिद्रा पुरूणि शर्म देवाँश्च कामयमानः सन्नच्छाभि वक्षि ॥५॥

O learned person! you are like the purifying fire (in the form of fire/electricity/the sun). You illuminate the heaven and earth set by the Almighty God in proper order. O admirer of the true merits! desiring many and faultless shelters and enlightened persons, or divine virtues, you give us true knowledge of all kinds.
