उष॒ आ भा॑हि भा॒नुना॑ च॒न्द्रेण॑ दुहितर्दिवः । आ॒वह॑न्ती॒ भूर्य॒स्मभ्यं॒ सौभ॑गं व्यु॒च्छन्ती॒ दिवि॑ष्टिषु ॥
uṣa ā bhāhi bhānunā candreṇa duhitar divaḥ | āvahantī bhūry asmabhyaṁ saubhagaṁ vyucchantī diviṣṭiṣu ||

(उषः) उषाइव कमनीये (आ) समन्तात् (भाहि) (भानुना) सूर्येण (चन्द्रेण) इन्दुना (दुहितः) पुत्रीव (दिवः) प्रकाशस्य (आवहन्ती) सर्वतः सुखं प्रापयन्ती (भूरि) बहु (अस्मभ्यम्) पुरुषार्थिभ्यः (सौभगम्) शोभनानां भगानामैश्वर्य्याणामिदम् (व्युच्छन्ती) निवासं कुर्वन्ती (दिविष्टिषु) प्रकाशितासु कान्तिषु ॥९॥
पुनः सा कीदृशी सती किं कुर्यादित्युपदिश्यते।
