अ॒र्वाञ्चा॑ वां॒ सप्त॑योऽध्वर॒श्रियो॒ वह॑न्तु सव॒नेदुप॑ । इषं॑ पृ॒ञ्चन्ता॑ सु॒कृते॑ सु॒दान॑व॒ आ ब॒र्हिः सी॑दतं नरा ॥

(अर्वाचां) अर्वतो वेगानंचतः प्राप्नुतस्तौ (वाम्) युवयोः (सप्तयः) बाष्पादयोऽश्वा येषान्ते। सप्तिरित्यश्वना० निघं० १।१४। (अध्वरश्रियः) या अध्वरस्याहिंसनीयस्य चक्रवर्त्तिराज्यस्य लक्ष्मीस्ताः (वहन्तु) प्राप्नुवन्तु (सवना) सुन्वति यैस्तानि (इत्) एव (उप) सामीप्ये (इषम्) श्रेष्ठामिच्छामुत्तममन्नादिकं वा (पृञ्चन्ता) सम्पर्चकौ (सुकृते) यः शोभनानि कर्म्माणि करोति तस्मै (सुदानवे) शोभना दानवो दानानि यस्य तस्मै (आ) अभितः (बर्हिः) अन्तरिक्षमुत्तमं वस्तुजातम् (सीदतम्) गच्छतम् (नरा) नायकौ सभासेनापती ॥८॥
