फिर वे कैसे हैं, इस विषय का उपदेश अगले मन्त्र में किया है॥
Word-Meaning: - हे अश्विनौ विद्यायुक्त शिल्पि लोगो ! तुम दोनों (अघ्न्यस्य) जो कि विनाश करने योग्य नहीं है, उस (रथस्य) विमान आदि यान के (मूर्धनि) उत्तम अङ्ग अग्रभाग में जो एक और (अन्यत्) दूसरा नीचे की ओर कलायन्त्र बनाओ तो वे दो चक्र समुद्र वा (द्याम्) आकाश पर भी (नियेमथुः) देश-देशान्तर में जाने के वास्ते बहुत अच्छे हों, इन दोनों चक्रों से जुड़ा हुआ रथ जहाँ चाहो वहाँ (ईयते) पहुँचानेवाला होता है॥१९॥
Connotation: - शिल्पी विद्वानों को योग्य है कि जो शीघ्र जाने आने के लिये रथ बनाना चाहें तो उसके आगे एक-एक कलायन्त्रयुक्त चक्र तथा सब कलाओं के घूमने के लिये दूसरा चक्र नीचे भाग में रच के उसमें यन्त्र के साथ जल और अग्नि आदि पदार्थों का प्रयोग करें। इस प्रकार रचा हुए यान भारसहित शिल्पी विद्वान् लोगों को भूमि, समुद्र और अन्तरिक्ष मार्ग से सुखपूर्वक देशान्तर को प्राप्त कराता है॥१९॥

चक्र का मूर्धास्थान में नियमन
Word-Meaning: - १. हे प्राणपानो ! (यद्) - जब यह शरीररूपी रथ (द्याम्) - द्युलोक में (अन्यत्) - कुछ विलक्षण ही रूप से (परि , ईयते) - व्यापक गतिवाला होता है , अर्थात् जब हमारी बुद्धि तीन होकर हमें अद्भुत आत्मज्ञान प्राप्त होता है , या हम सूक्ष्म बुद्धि के द्वारा कण - कण में प्रभु के रचना - सौन्दर्य को देखने लगते हैं तब आप (रथस्य) - इस शरीर - रथ के (चक्रम्) - चक्र को (अघ्न्यस्य मूर्धनि) - किसी भी प्रकार नष्ट न किये जा सकने योग्य [हन् हिंसा] अथवा सामान्य बुद्धि से न पहुँच सकने व जा सकने योग्य [हन् गतौ] उस प्रभु के ऊर्ध्व स्थान में [तृतीये धामन्] (नियेमथुः) - स्थापित करते हो ।
२. प्राणापान की साधना से ही शरीर में सोम का रक्षण होकर , ज्ञानाग्नि को सोमरूप ईंधन प्राप्त कराया जाता है । ज्ञानाग्नि प्रचण्ड होकर सर्वत्र प्रभु की महिमा को देखती है । सारा हृदयाकाश ज्ञान की विलक्षण [अन्यत्] ज्योति से परिपूर्ण होता है तो वहाँ इस अज्ञेय प्रभु का दर्शन होता है , काव्यमय भाषा में 'शरीर - रथ' का पहिया प्रभु के तृतीय धाम - सर्वोच्च स्थान में जाकर स्थित होता है ।
Connotation: - भावार्थ - प्राणसाधना से वह ज्योति प्राप्त होती है जोकि हमें प्रभु - दर्शन के योग्य बनाती है ।

पुनस्तौ कीदृशावित्युपदिश्यते॥
Anvay:
हे अश्विनौ ! विद्याव्याप्तौ युवां यद्येकमघ्न्यस्य रथस्य मूर्द्धन्यपरं द्वितीयं च चक्रमधो रचयेतां तर्ह्येते समुद्रमाकाशं वा नियेमथुर्नियच्छथ एताभ्यां द्वाभ्यां युक्तं यानं यथेष्टे मार्गे ईयते प्रापयति॥१९॥
Word-Meaning: - (नि) क्रियायोगे (अघ्न्यस्य) हन्तुं विनाशयितुमनर्हस्य यानस्य (मूर्धनि) उत्तमाङ्गेऽग्रभागे (चक्रम्) एकं यन्त्रकलासमूहम् (रथस्य) विमानादियानस्य (येमथुः) देशान्तरे यच्छथः। अत्र लडर्थे लिट्। (परि) सर्वतः (द्याम्) दिवमुपर्य्याकाशम् (अन्यत्) द्वितीयं चक्रम् (ईयते) गमयति॥१९॥
Connotation: - शिल्पिभिः शीघ्रगमनार्थं यद्यद्यानं चिकीर्ष्यते तस्य तस्याग्रभाग एकं कलायन्त्रचक्रं सर्वकलाभ्रमणार्थं द्वितीयमपरभागे च रचनीयं तद्रचने जलाग्न्यादि प्रयोज्यैतेन यानेन ससम्भाराः शिल्पिनो भूमिसमुद्रान्तरिक्षमार्गेण सुखेन गन्तुं शक्नुवन्तीति निश्चयः॥१९॥

Word-Meaning: - Ashvins, on top of your indestructible chariot fix a rotating machine, chakra, which will take it over the sea and the sky. Fix another below, and this other will take it over the sky into space, the region of light.

Anvay:
O learned scientists, if you place one wheel on the top of the imperishable aero plane etc. and the other group of machines below, then you can travel in the sea and the sky above. A vehicle consisting of such machines can take you to your desired destination.
Word-Meaning: - ( अघ्न्यस्य रथस्य ) हन्तुं विनाशयितुम् अनर्हस्य यानस्य विमानादियानस्य = Of the imperishable vehicle like aero plane etc. (ईयते) गमयति । = Causes to move.
Connotation: - What ever conveyance is desired to be manufactured by artists for speedy transport, a group of machines and wheels below and mechanical wheel to move all machines should be placed above. When with its help water, fire, etc. are used, artists through its use can travel easily the route of earth, sea and the sky. This is quite certain.
Footnote: These two Mantras show clearly show the Vedas deal with scientific subjects and how remarkable is the reference to a vehicle which can travel on earth, sea and the sky. Such a vehicle has not yet, been discovered. Prof. Wilson, Griffith and other Western Scholars were not able to grasp the depth of the Vedic teachings on such subjects, yet their translations denote the scientific element, though they are very faulty and defective. Wilson's translation of the above two Mantras is- 18. Dasras, your chariot, harnessed for both alike, is imperishable, it travels, Ashwin, through the air. (Wilson). 19. "You have one wheel on the top of the solid (Mountain, while the other revolves in the sky. Griffith's translation of these Mantras is- 18.Your Chariot yoked for both alike, immortal Ye of mighty acts. Travels, O Ashvins in the sea. 19. High on the forehead of the bull, one chariot wheel ye ever keep. The other round the sky revolves (Griffith) In the foot-note Griffith admits his inability to understand the 19th Mantra saying:- "The bull, apparently the sun.. "But the meaning is not very clear." (Griffith's foot-note Chowkhamba Series edition P..40).

Connotation: - शिल्पी विद्वान शीघ्र गमनागमन करण्यासाठी रथ बनवू इच्छितील तर समोर एक एक कलायंत्रयुक्त चक्र व सर्व कलांना फिरविण्यासाठी दुसरे चक्र खालच्या बाजूला लावावे. त्यात यंत्राबरोबर जल व अग्नी इत्यादी पदार्थांचा प्रयोग करावा. याप्रकारे तयार केलेले यान भारसहित असून, शिल्पी विद्वानांना भूमी, समुद्र व अंतरिक्ष मार्गाने सुखपूर्वक देशांतरी पोहोचविते. ॥ १९ ॥
