तमु॑ त्वा द॒ध्यङ्ङृषिः॑ पु॒त्र ई॑धे॒ अथ॑र्वणः। वृ॒त्र॒हणं॑ पुरन्द॒रम् ॥१४॥
tam u tvā dadhyaṅṅ ṛṣiḥ putra īdhe atharvaṇaḥ | vṛtrahaṇam puraṁdaram ||
तम्। ऊँ॒ इति॑। त्वा॒। द॒ध्यङ्। ऋषिः॑। पु॒त्रः। ई॒धे॒। अथ॑र्वणः। वृ॒त्र॒ऽहन॑म्। पु॒र॒म्ऽद॒रम् ॥१४॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर विद्वानों को क्या करना चाहिये, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
वृत्रहणं पुरन्दरम्
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनर्विद्वद्भिः किं कर्त्तव्यमित्याह ॥
हे विद्वन् राजंस्तमु वृत्रहणं पुरन्दरं सूर्य्यमिव त्वाऽथर्वणः पुत्रो दध्यङ् ऋषिरीधे तथा त्वं मां कुरु ॥१४॥

What should the enlightened persons do is told.
O learned king! the son of a non- violent person who approaches many upholders of knowledge and is the knower of the mantras of the Vedas, kindles you with knowledge like the sun- the destroyer of the cities of the cloud, so do you enlighten me.
