तेजि॑ष्ठा॒ यस्या॑र॒तिर्व॑ने॒राट् तो॒दो अध्व॒न्न वृ॑धसा॒नो अ॑द्यौत्। अ॒द्रो॒घो न द्र॑वि॒ता चे॑तति॒ त्मन्नम॑र्त्योऽव॒र्त्र ओष॑धीषु ॥३॥
tejiṣṭhā yasyāratir vanerāṭ todo adhvan na vṛdhasāno adyaut | adrogho na dravitā cetati tmann amartyo vartra oṣadhīṣu ||
तेजि॑ष्ठा। यस्य॑। अ॒र॒तिः। व॒ने॒ऽराट्। तो॒दः। अध्व॑न्। न। वृ॒ध॒सा॒नः। अ॒द्यौ॒त्। अ॒द्रो॒घः। न। द्र॒वि॒ता। चे॒त॒ति॒। त्मन्। अम॑र्त्यः। अ॒व॒र्त्रः। ओष॑धीषु ॥३॥

फिर राजा कैसा होवे, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥

उपासक में प्रभु की दीप्ति

पुना राजा कीदृशो भवेदित्याह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! यस्याग्नेस्तेजिष्ठाऽरतिर्वनेराडध्वन् वृधसानस्तोदो नाद्यौत् सोऽद्रोघो न द्रविता त्मन्नमर्त्योऽवर्त्र ओषधीषु चेतति ॥३॥

The qualities of an ideal are told.
O men ! the inspiring achievements of the king who is full of splendor like the fire, blazes most splendid like the fire in the finest rays of the sun. His achievement. shines waking on the way like a pain (in stomach etc.) growing on the movement. He himself being immortal (by the nature of the soul) active and invincible gives the knowledge about the Soma and other plants.
