अ॒स्माक॑मग्ने अध्व॒रं जु॑षस्व॒ सह॑सः सूनो त्रिषधस्थ ह॒व्यम्। व॒यं दे॒वेषु॑ सु॒कृतः॑ स्याम॒ शर्म॑णा नस्त्रि॒वरू॑थेन पाहि ॥८॥
asmākam agne adhvaraṁ juṣasva sahasaḥ sūno triṣadhastha havyam | vayaṁ deveṣu sukṛtaḥ syāma śarmaṇā nas trivarūthena pāhi ||
अ॒स्माक॑म्। अ॒ग्ने॒। अ॒ध्व॒रम्। जु॒ष॒स्व॒। सह॑सः। सू॒नो॒ इति॑। त्रि॒ऽस॒ध॒स्थ॒। ह॒व्यम्। व॒यम्। दे॒वेषु॑। सु॒ऽकृतः॑। स्या॒म॒। शर्म॑णा। नः॒। त्रि॒ऽवरू॑थेन। पा॒हि॒ ॥८॥

हे सहसः सूनो त्रिषधस्थाग्ने ! त्वमस्माकं हव्यमध्वरं जुषस्व त्रिवरूथेन शर्मणा सह नोऽस्मान्त्सततं पाहि यतो वयं देवेषु सुकृतः स्याम ॥८॥

The duties of the rulers and subjects are elaborated.
O king! you act like the purifying fire. O son of a mighty person! you have observed Brahmacharya for a long period. You are impartial to all the three kinds of people, i. e. your subjects, staff and relatives. Serve them with love in our non-violent Yajna in the form of protection and happiness of the subjects. Protect us constantly in our homes, which they deserve suitably built for all the three main seasons i. e. rains, winter and summer. Because of that we may be able to spread righteous deeds among the enlightened persons.
