जा॒नन्ति॒ वृष्णो॑ अरु॒षस्य॒ शेव॑मु॒त ब्र॒ध्नस्य॒ शास॑ने रणन्ति। दि॒वो॒रुचः॑ सु॒रुचो॒ रोच॑माना॒ इळा॒ येषां॒ गण्या॒ माहि॑ना॒ गीः॥
jānanti vṛṣṇo aruṣasya śevam uta bradhnasya śāsane raṇanti | divorucaḥ suruco rocamānā iḻā yeṣāṁ gaṇyā māhinā gīḥ ||

येषां गण्येळा माहिना गीर्वर्त्तते ते रोचमाना दिवोरुचः सुरुचो रणन्ति वृष्णोऽरुषस्य ब्रध्नस्य शासने शेवमुत विज्ञानं जानन्ति ॥५॥

The qualities of the Mahatmas or great souls is told.
Those are great souls whose speech is respectable and dependable. They being interested in the spread of knowledge and creating love among all are glorious, because of utter useful and beneficial words. Remaining under the command or guidance of great and mighty scholar like a powerful horse, they know the means of attaining happiness and acquiring true knowledge.
