स ह॑व्य॒वाळम॑र्त्य उ॒शिग्दू॒तश्चनो॑हितः। अ॒ग्निर्धि॒या समृ॑ण्वति॥
sa havyavāḻ amartya uśig dūtaś canohitaḥ | agnir dhiyā sam ṛṇvati ||
सः। ह॒व्य॒ऽवाट्। अम॑र्त्यः। उ॒शिक्। दू॒तः। चनः॑ऽहितः। अ॒ग्निः। धि॒या। सम्। ऋ॒ण्व॒ति॒॥

Again the duties of the learned persons are told.
He alone is able to teach us who like Agni (fire) conveys all proper objects, is immortal, by the nature of the soul and is desirous of bringing about the welfare of all. Such a learned person is like a messenger who removes ignorance and brings the light of knowledge. He takes nourishing good food and with his intellect knows all well.
