हे मनुष्या यथा वावशाना गौर्मिषन्तं वत्सं मूर्द्धानमनु हिङ्ङकृणोत् मातवा उ वत्सस्य दुःखममीमेत् तथा पयोभिस्सह वर्त्तमाना गौः पृथिवी घर्मं सृक्वाणं दिनं मायुं च कुर्वती पयते सुखमभिमिमाति ॥ २८ ॥

The attributes of cow folk are mentioned.
The cow bellows for the calf who stands with winking eyes, and lows as she proceeds to lick his forehead; she utters cry in anxiousness and licks the moisture of all the parts of his body. It also nourishes him with her milk. (2) As the cow loves her calf and tries to alleviate his sufferings, in the same way the earth with her waters, making days and producing heat and sounds adds happiness.
