फिर ईश्वर विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है ।
पदार्थान्वयभाषाः - हे विद्वानो ! जो जगदीश्वर (गायत्रेण) गायत्री छन्द से (अर्कम्) ऋक् (अर्केण) ऋचाओं के समूह से (साम) साम (त्रैष्टुभेन) त्रिष्टुप्छन्द वा तीन वेदों की विद्याओं को (=की) स्तुतियों से (वाकम्) यजुर्वेद (द्विपदा) दो पद जिस में विद्यमान वा (चतुष्पदा) चार पदवाले (अक्षरेण) नाशरहित (वाकेन) यजुर्वेद से (वाकम्) अथर्ववेद और (सप्त) गायत्री आदि सात छन्द युक्त (वाणीः) वेदवाणी को (प्रति, मिमीते) प्रतिमान करता है और जो उसके ज्ञान को (मिमते) मान करते हैं वे कृतकृत्य होते हैं ॥ २४ ॥
भावार्थभाषाः - जिस जगदीश्वर ने वेदस्थ अक्षर, पद, वाक्य, छन्द, अध्याय आदि बनाये हैं, उसको सब मनुष्य धन्यवाद देवें ॥ २४ ॥

हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
दिन दूनी रात चौगुनी
पदार्थान्वयभाषाः - १. (गायत्रेण) = यज्ञ के द्वारा (अर्कम्) = उपासना, पूजा [Prayer] को (प्रतिमिमीते) = सम्यक्तया सिद्ध करता है, अर्थात् प्रभु की वास्तविक पूजा यज्ञ के द्वारा सिद्ध होती है। पुरुषसूक्त में कहा है– 'यज्ञेन यज्ञमयजन्त देवाः '– देव लोग यज्ञरूप विष्णु की यज्ञ के द्वारा ही उपासना करते हैं। २. (अर्केण) = इस अर्चना से (साम) = सच्ची शान्ति की प्राप्ति होती है। इस अर्चना से हमारा जीवन त्रिविध तापों से रहित होकर शान्तिमय हो सकेगा। ३. (त्रैष्टुभेन) = आध्यात्मिक, आधिभौतिक व आधिदैविक – त्रिविध तापों के समाप्त होने पर ही (वाकम्) = ज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है। शारीरिक व्याधि, मानसिक चिन्ता व बुद्धि की मलिनता तो ज्ञान प्राप्ति में बाधक हैं ही, यदि आधिभौतिक शान्ति न हो तब भी ज्ञान प्राप्ति सम्भव नहीं। इसी प्रकार भूकम्प, बाढ़, अतिवृष्टि आदि आधिदैविक अशान्तियाँ भी ज्ञान प्राप्ति में विघ्न हैं। सब प्रकार से शान्त वातावरण में ही ज्ञान का उद्भव होता है । ४ ज्ञान प्राप्ति का ठीक उपक्रम हो जाने पर (वाकेन) = ज्ञान से (वाकम्) = ज्ञान द्(विपदा चतुष्पदा) = दिन दूना और रात चौगुना [by leaps and bounds] बढ़ने लगता है। पहले गुरु सुझा रहे थे, अब तो हमें स्वयं सूझने लगा। हम ज्ञान-मार्ग पर छलाँगें मारते हुए आगे बढ़ चलते हैं और अन्त में स्थिति यह आती है कि - ५. अक्षरेण सर्वव्यापक, अविनाशी प्रभु के द्वारा (सप्त वाणी) = सात छन्दों से युक्त वेदवाणी को हम मिमते मापने लगते हैं | हृदयस्थ प्रभु हमें वेद का साक्षात्कार कराने लगते हैं ।
भावार्थभाषाः - भावार्थ - यज्ञ के द्वारा उपासना होती है, इस उपासना से शान्ति मिलती है, शान्ति से ज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है। ज्ञान से ज्ञान उत्तरोत्तर बढ़ता हुआ अन्त में प्रभु से प्रातिभिक [Intutional] ज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है ।

हे विद्वांसो यो जगदीश्वरो गायत्रेणार्कमर्केण साम त्रैष्टुभेन वाकं द्विपदा चतुष्पदाऽक्षरेण वाकेन वाकं सप्त वाणीश्च प्रति मिमीते तज्ज्ञानं ये मिमते ते कृतकृत्या जायन्ते ॥ २४ ॥

पदार्थान्वयभाषाः - In gayatri metre the Rks are composed. With Rks, the Samans are composed. With trishtubh metre Vak, Yajus are composed. By Vak, Yajurveda, and further Vak, Atharva Veda, is composed and formed. And with two-pada and four-pada constituents of the eternal Word, all the seven forms of Vedic compositions in metric forms of verse, are composed.$(In scientific terms, gayatri is Parameshthi Prana, universal energy at the highest level, from universal energy, specific forms of energy are created. One of these specific forms is Rk, rhythmic energy operative in thought consciousness. When pranic energy passes through a particular physical structure such as the reed or the larynx, sound is produced. When rhythm is added to sound, music is produced. When elements of sound are related to particular points of the speech mechanism, then phonemes, elements of sound in language forms, are produced. And when the elements of sound are joined in correspondence with thought, then language is produced. When feeling and emotion is added to language and expressed, then song is created and composed. Thus from Rks, thought energies of consciousness composed in language, joined to celebrative joy, Samans are created. When the music and songs of joy are joined to practical situations in the holy business of living, then Yajus are created as holy formations of life’s values. And then from thought, song and practical formulae in holy living the comprehensive body of Atharva hymns is created. The classification of Vedic knowledge is thus explained in terms of knowledge, Rgveda, song, Samveda, action, Yajurveda, and comprehensive message, Atharva-veda, which is also known as Brahma Veda. In this way, from the elements of energy, sound, thought, feeling and emotion in divine consciousness, specially love and joy, all language and linguistic compositions both divine and human, sacred and secular, are created.)

Again something about God.
अन्वय:
O learned persons ! those who acquire the knowledge of God through the Gayatri (and other meters) reveal the Rigveda through a number of Riks (Mantras); Samaveda is revealed through Trishtup in the praise of the knowledge, action and devotion; and the Yajurveda with Jāgati (and other meters); and with the eternal mantras of two or four lines study the Atharvaveda. Endowed with Seven Principal meters, they achieve well the aim of their life.
भावार्थभाषाः - All should thank God who has made wonderful letters (words), sentences and chapters of the Vedas for the good of mankind.
